At South Steyne Medical Centre, Dr Yliana Dennett brings a thoughtful, experienced approach to general practice, with a particular focus on women’s health, mental health, and preventative care.
With a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and additional qualifications in family planning, sexual and reproductive health, and travel medicine, Dr Dennett has developed a broad and diverse clinical background. Her experience spans emergency and hospital medicine, the Flying Doctor Service, and work in remote and Indigenous communities across Australia.
Dr Dennett has a special interest in supporting women through perimenopause and menopause and is a member of the Australasian Menopause Society. She provides personalised, evidence-based care to help patients navigate hormonal changes, manage symptoms, and maintain long-term health and wellbeing.
Her services also include IUD and Implanon procedures, antenatal and pregnancy care, fertility planning, iron infusions, and chronic disease management. She is passionate about building long-term relationships with her patients and creating a space where people feel comfortable discussing their health concerns.
Fluent in English, Spanish and Russian, Dr Dennett is able to support a diverse patient community. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly by the ocean, making her a natural fit for the Northern Beaches lifestyle. Dr Dennett is now consulting at South Steyne Medical Centre, Manly.
