Agronomeye: Farm for the future

In December 2020’s first ever Tawny, the debut Silicon Brooky article profiled Tim Howell and Stu Adam, a dynamic Beaches duo who’d set their sights on an evolutionary mission to digitise agriculture via their Agronomeye start-up. Well, the pair have been very busy lads since then.

The Agronomeye team has grown from 3 to 15. They now work with landholders in every Australian state. They’ve secured $3.5million investment capital from notable investors including Canva Co-Founder and billionaire Cameron Adams, and Northern Beaches local, SiteMinder co-founder, Mike Ford.

The ability of Agronomeye’s tech expertise to digitise farming assets allows farmers to get properly rewarded for their natural capital via carbon credits, as well as vastly improve water-use efficiency, biodiversity management, and bring integrity and transparency to the entire agricultural space to ensure unquestioned robustness of green finance.

Agronomeye have grand plans for the next five years, aiming to build a digital twin for every farm in Australia by 2027. If you don’t know what a “digital twin is”, imagine being able to inspect every inch of a farm digitally and virtually, down to every leaf on the trees, all from the comfort of your laptop, which is what Tim and Stu’s Agronomeye offers farmers. Absolutely twinning.

“2023 is shaping up to be an incredible year for Agronomeye,” Stu Adam tells us. “The value in our technology is undeniable and the market is evolving in our favour at an incredible rate. Putting farmers at the centre of the fight against climate change will prove to be pivotal for the sector and society.”

Enjoy that?
